Das ist der Liebe schönstes Recht, Daß sie verzeihet und vergißt; Der liebt nicht treu, der liebt nicht echt, Der diese Tiefe nicht ermißt. Und schmerzt die Wunde noch so sehr, Die der Geliebten Hand Dir schlug, Von der Geliebten kommt sie her, Das sei des Trostes dir genug.
