Ein letzter Traum, ein letztes Bild, Sein brechend Auge schlägt nach oben. Die Sense rauscht im Ährenfeld, Er sieht sein Dorf im Arbeitsfrieden, Ade, ade, du Heimatwelt - Und beugt das Haupt und ist verschieden.
