Les feuilles fanées des lys se retournent
Et le lac tranquillement est parti se reposer.
Sous le charme de la beauté magique,
Je reste, pensif : « Qu'est-ce qui te rend triste aujourd'hui,
Quand tout autour de toi est si triste ? »
Le matin je reviens : brillant de rosée,
Le lys se réveille, superbe et magnifique,
Et joliment, dans sa parure brillante,
Souriant il salue le ciel,
Et des vagues joyeuses éclaboussent dans le lac...
Et moi ? Je suis triste, comme avant !
