Жуки над вишнями гудят;
Плуг с нивы пахари тащат;
И, распеваючи, девчаты 
Домой на вечерю спешат.

Семья их ждёт, и всёго-тово;
Звезда вечерняя встаёт,
И дочка ужин подаёт.
А мать сказала бы ей слово,
Да соловейко не даёт.

Мать уложила возле хаты
Малюток-деточек своих;
Сама заснула возле них...
Затихло все... один девчаты,
Да соловейко не затих.

Le soir

Il y a un cerisier dans le jardin près de la maison ;
Des insectes bourdonnent sur les cerises ;
Les laboureurs poussent les charrues hors des champs ;
En chantant les filles
Se dépêchent vers la maison pour le dîner.

La famille les attend, tout est prêt ;
L'étoile du soir se lève ;
La fille sert le dîner.
La mère voudrait lui parler,
Mais le rossignol ne la laisse pas faire.

La mère a couché dans la maison
Les petites filles ;
Elle-même s'endort près d'elles.
Tout est calme... seuls les filles
Et le rossignol sont éveillés.
