En op de wei dy’t ik gean sil de sinne
Uus bijelkoar, gelokkigen, wer bringe
Op dizze sinne-azemjende ierde.

En del nei ’t strân, it fiere, weageblauwe,
Sill’ wij dan stil en langsum hinne rinne,
En swijend elkoar yn de eagen skôgje,
