Tutt' intorno il bosco è silenzioso e quieto, ma il cuore batte forte angosciato dalla paura; il fumo nero scende e scende sempre più in basso ad asciugare le lacrime sulla mia guancia. Ma, le mie lacrime non si asciugano, hanno altri luoghi dove piangere! Chi sa ancora cantare nel dolore, continuerà a vivere, e il suo canto non sarà dimenticato!
