Meines Glückes Herbst geregnet.

Winter kam hereingeschlichen
In mein Herz, die Thränen starben,
Und schneeweiß sind mir erblichen
Alle grünen Hoffnungsfarben.

Blumen, Vögel, rings im Haine,
All' ihr frohen Bundgenossen,
Mahnt mich nicht, daß ich alleine
Bin vom Frühling ausgeschlossen!
