El vi regalima de la taula, totes les espelmes, tremolant, flamegen més somortes, de nou torno a estar sol, de nou s’ha acabat una festa. Tristament, apago tots els llums a les estances que ara són silencioses, tan sols al jardí el vent parla temorós amb els arbres negres. Ai, si no tingués aquest reconfort de tancar els meus cansats ulls...! I no sento cap desig de tornar mai més a despertar-me.
