L'odeur des nuits d'été parfume le lac noir.
Le grand lac parfumé brille comme un miroir,

  Des deux rames que je balance,

Là-bas la lune écoute, accoudée au côteau,

la meva barca llisca en el somni,

damunt el llac immaterial.....
