そして世に二つとない天上の美を見た
その記憶が私に喜びと苦しみをもたらし
他に見える物すべてが、虚ろな幻影ように思える
そしてその美しい瞳から涙がこぼれ落ちるのを見た
その瞳は幾度となく太陽を羨んだ
そしてため息に乗せられた言葉を聞いた
それは山を動かし 川をせき止めるかのようだった
愛、理性、価値、哀れみと、苦しみ
それらの涙の声がかつてない甘い調和となって
響きわたっていた
空はその響きに静まり返り
枝の葉も微動だにしなかった
