Mir fällt ein junger Ritter ein fast wie ein alter Spruch. Der kam. So kommt manchmal im Hain der große Sturm und hüllt dich ein. Der ging. So läßt das Benedein der großen Glocken dich allein oft mitten im Gebet... Dann willst du in die Stille schrein, und weinst doch nur ganz leis hinein tief in dein kühles Tuch. Mir fällt ein junger Ritter ein, der weit in Waffen geht. Sein Lächeln war so weich und fein: wie Glanz auf altem Elfenbein, wie Heimweh, wie ein Weihnachtsschnein im dunkeln Dorf, wie Türkisstein um den sich lauter Perlen reihn, wie Mondenschein auf einem lieben Buch.
