My love is in a light attire
Language: English
Available translation(s): FRE
My love is in a light attire
Among the apple-trees,
Where the gay winds do most desire
To run in companies.

There, where the gay winds stay to woo
The young leaves as they pass,
My love goes slowly, bending to
Her shadow on the grass;

And where the sky's a pale blue cup
Over the laughing land,
My love goes lightly, holding up
Her dress with dainty hand.

Mon amour est en tenue légère
Language: French (Français)  after the English
Mon amour est en tenue légère
Parmi les pommiers,
Où les vents joyeux ne désirent que
Courir en compagnie.

Là, où les vents joyeux restent courtiser
Les jeunes feuilles quand ils passent,
Mon amour va lentement, se penchant vers
Son ombre sur l'herbe ;

Et où le ciel est une coupe bleue clair
Au dessus de la terre qui rit,
Mon amour va légèrement, relevant
Sa robe d'une main délicate.
