by Heinrich Heine (1797 - 1856)

Güldne Sternlein schauen nieder
Language: German (Deutsch)
Güldne Sternlein schauen nieder,
Mit der Liebe Sehnsuchtwehe;
Bunte Blümlein nicken wieder,
Schauen schmachtend in die Höhe.

Zärtlich blickt der Mond herunter,
Spiegelt sich in Bächleins Fluten,
Und vor Liebe taucht er unter,
Kühlt im Wasser seine Gluten.

Wollustatmend, in der Schwüle,
Schnäbeln weiße Turteltäubchen;
Flimmernd, wie zum Liebesspiele,
Fliegt der Glühwurm nach dem Weibchen.

Lüftlein schauern wundersüße,
Ziehen feiernd durch die Bäume,
Werfen Kuß und Liebesgrüße
Nach den Schatten weicher Träume.

Blümlein hüpfet, Bächlein springet,
Sternlein kommt herabgeschossen,
Alles wacht und lacht und singet -
Liebe hat ihr Reich erschlossen.
