Stille, du elskede Kvinde!
Language: Danish (Dansk)
Our translations:  ENG FRE
Stille, du elskede Kvinde!
Tyst maa vi træde, vi to.
Der sover en Sang her inde
I Skovens natlige Ro.

Stille er Vover og Vinde,
Tavs er hver Sangfuglemund,
Tiende Kilderne rinde
Blankt over mossede Bund.

Maanestraalerne spille
Tyst mellem Bøgene frem,
Langs ad Stierne stille
Blunder en lyslig Bræm.

Sølvskyen selv der oppe
Hviler paa Vingen bred,
Højt over Træernes Toppe
Skuer den lyttende ned.

Stille er Vover og Vinde,
Tyst maa vi træde, vi to.
Der sover en Sang her inde
I Skovens natlige Ro.

Paysage
Language: French (Français)  after the Danish (Dansk)
Silence, chère femme,
Il nous faut tous deux marcher doucement,
Un chant s'assoupit là, dans
La quiétude nocturne de la forêt.

Vagues et vents se taisent
Chaque gorge d'oiseau est muette,
Des sources coulent en sourdine,
Brillantes sur fond moussu.

Des rayons de lune jouent
En catimini au milieu des hêtres,
Le long des sentiers silencieux
Somnole une lisière brillante.

Un nuage d'argent lui-même, là-haut
Se repose sur son aile écartée,
Bien au-dessus de la cime des arbres,
Il écoute en regardant en bas.

Vagues et vents se taisent,
Il nous faut tous deux marcher doucement,
Un chant s'assoupit là, dans
La quiétude nocturne de la forêt.
