Sorge seiner Liebe zu.

2. Immer reizend
 (Sung text)

Language: German (Deutsch)
Wenn mir sanft dein Auge spricht,
Liebe zu verkünden,
muss des Mondes mildes Licht
gleich davor verschwinden.

Und wenn gar dein Aug' einmal
flüchtig zürnend funkelt,
dann wird selbst der Sonne Strahl
ganz dadurch verdunkelt.

Weiß am Ende selber nicht,
was mich mehr entzücket,
wenn dein Auge zürnend spricht
oder liebend blicket.

Text Authorship:

  • by Matthias Jacob Schleiden (1804 - 1881), as Ernst

3. Dereinst Gedanke mein  [sung text not yet checked]

Language: German (Deutsch)
Dereinst, dereinst,
[Gedanke]1 mein,
Wirst ruhig sein.

Läßt Liebesglut
Dich still nicht werden,
In kühler Erden,
Da schläfst du gut,
[Dort ohne Lieb']2
und ohne Pein
Wirst ruhig sein.

Was du im Leben
Nicht hast gefunden,
Wenn es entschwunden,
[Wird's dir]3 gegeben,
Dann ohne Wunden
[Und ohne Pein]2
Wirst ruhig sein.
