Von den lichten Blüthenzweigen Wehn die Düfte heilend lind, Thaugeschmückt die Halme neigen Wie zum Beten sich im Wind. Schüchtern nur die Vöglein tauschen Ihren ersten Frühgesang, Und so ernst die Bäume rauschen Zu der Morgenglocken Klang. Sieh auch mich, auch mich verlanget, Herr, nach deiner Sabbathsruh! Wie die Frühlingswelt erpranget, Prang' in meinem Herzen du! Und die Seligkeit, der Friede, Der die Seele mir durchweht, Steig' empor in meinem Liede, Dir ein angenehm Gebet!
