Però tu fores el meu passatemps, àuria fantasia, i jo vaig esdevenir un ardent heroi, com el príncep Pipi, i vaig recórrer el món. Vaig construir molts castells de cristall i també els vaig destruir. Vaig llançar la meva brillant javelina al ventre del drac, sí, jo era un home! Cavalleresc, vaig alliberar la princesa Peix; ella restà molt agraïda, em convidà a la seva taula, i jo vaig ser galant. El seu bes era com mannà del cel, ardent com el vi. Ai, jo l’estimava fins a morir! Envoltada de la llum del sol, semblava una figura esmaltada. Ai, qui me l’ha raptat? Cap lligam màgic l’ha retingut de la seva fuga deslleial? Digueu-me, on és el seu país? On és el camí per arribar-hi?
