Saa fast, at En intet sandser;

Der leves i Lyst som halvt i Drøm,
Men Sorgen har ingen Drømme:
Med vaagne Øjne den paa Dig seer,
Øjne som sugende Strømme.

Ej Smilet vil lyse din Dag i Seng,
Men Taaren har gode Stunder;
