My heart rests wearily Upon the velvet of night And stars come to rest upon my eyelids . . . . . From me flow forth silver tones of the etude -- -- -- And I am no more and yet have increased a thousandfold. And I spread over our earth: Peace. I have completed the final chord of my life -- I quietly passed away -- as God devised it in me: A salvatory psalm -- so that the world might practice it.
