Komm, Geist, Erschaffer, Lebensluft erfülle uns mit Deinem Duft; der Du erwirktest unser Sein, gieß' Gnad' in uns're Herzen ein. Fürsprecher, Beistand wirst genannt, als Gottesgabe uns gesandt. Licht, Leben, Liebe aus Dir quillt, der Seelen salbt, mit Geist erfüllt. Dem Leib, in seiner Dürftigkeit, verleihe Stärke, allezeit; Dein Geist durchglühe unser Sein, in unser Herz flöß' Liebe ein. Treib weg von uns der Feinde Schar den Frieden stetig uns bewahr; führ' uns, auf dass durch Dein Geleit wir meiden alle Schlechtigkeit. Der siebenfache Gaben schenkt, der Finger Gottes, der uns lenkt, und uns, vom Vater zugedacht, im Wort Erkenntnis hat gebracht. In Deinem Wirken, Heil'ger Geist, sich Vater und auch Sohn erweist: Du gehst von beiden aus. Für wahr lasst uns dies halten immerdar. Gewähre uns Glückseligkeit, erweise uns Barmherzigkeit; vom Strick des Streites uns befrei, das Band des Friedens uns verleih.
