Tem nu met suiker de brandende kracht, Zodat de scherpte zoet wordt verzacht! Giet nu het water met sprank'lende val! Water omvademt rustig het Al. Geestrijke druppels giet dan daarbij! Leven aan 't leven, dat geven zij. Eer 't gaat vervliegen, schep het maar snel! Enkel heet gloeiend laaft deze wel.
