Wo ist nur die liebe Sonne, 
die schöe, gute? 
Ja, die liebe Sonne ist fern.

Doch im kalten feuchten Dunst 
hinter Nebeln
lauert schon die Nacht,
verhüllt mit schwarzem Mantel uns.
