bez bázně kráčí k spánku mdlý 
kdes v dálce den,

v svou bezdnou říš. Skal sráz se rdí
a svítí tmou, a v proudech bdí

stín slétá níž; hle tmou se chví 
teď hvězda, duše tvá jde k ní
