Una herba creix en la frescor on rauen els raigs de la lluna i qui la porta, ha de sentir el que fa l’amor al cor. Si sabés el lloc exacte al bosc verd on es troba l’herba, en faria aviat un petit ram per a un superb xicot. I si ell vingués al til·ler del poble, m’agradaria veure com aquest obsequi escauria al xicot. Una fulla arrencada la portaria al meu pit, i de grat m’agradaria saber si porta pena o goig. Pigot negre, amb la teva destresa, porta’m aquesta herba i mostra’m també el xicot a qui li pugui regalar.
