The birdlets stir their wings In the sea of clouds in morning gold And their language is their singing, And from the air I hear it ringing: The Lord be praised and glorified! And I see colourful flowers blooming, A sea of grass blades surging about them, And their scented calices glow, And their language is their blooming: The Lord be praised and glorified! And thousands of little golden stars wander By night upon the dark ocean of the aether, And as they come, and as they wander, One speaks in greeting to the other: The Lord be praised and glorified! And if two kindred souls find themselves Upon the changing sea of life, [Two souls] that wed in love and faithfulness, The devout greeting shall also not be lacking: The Lord be praised and glorified!
