Nur ich selber bin's nicht wieder,
Bin verändert heimgekehret.

Von den weißen, schönen Armen
Fest und liebevoll umschlossen,
Lieg ich jetzt an ihrem Herzen,
Dumpfen Sinnes und verdroßen.
