Mein Wagen rollet langsam
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE ITA
Mein Wagen rollet langsam
Durch lustiges Waldesgrün,
Durch blumige Taler, die zaubrisch
Im Sonnenglanze blühn.

Ich sitze und sinne und träume,
Und denk' an die Liebste mein;
Da grüßen drei Schattengestalten
Kopfnickend zum Wagen herein.

Sie hüpfen und schneiden Gesichter,
So spöttisch und doch so scheu,
Und quirlen wie Nebel zusammen,
Und kichern und huschen vorbei.

Ma voiture roule doucement
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Ma voiture roule doucement
Dans la riante verdure de la forêt,
Parmi les fleurs des vallons , ensorcelante
Floraison sous l'éclat du soleil.

Je suis assis, songe et rêve,
Et pense à ma bien-aimée ;
Soudain trois ectoplasmes me saluent
D'un signe de tête s'invitant dans la voiture.

Ils sautillent et grimacent,
Si narquois et pourtant timides,
Et comme un tourbillon de brouillard,
Ils passent en trottant et en ricanant.
