Дам тебе я зерен, А ты песню спой, Что из стран далеких Принесла с собой... Что ты всё кружишься? Что твой черный глаз Ищет всё кого-то? Нет ее у нас! За солдата вышла, Бросила наш дом; С матерью прощалась Вон за тем крестом. Там, где куст, мне с плачем Ноги обняла И чуть не вернулась, Как до гор дошла. Если к ним летишь ты, Расскажи потом: Может терпят нужду В городе чужом? Часто ль вспоминают Обо мне у них? Что их дочь-малютка? Что сыночек их?
