When the autumn returns with its dead...
Language: English  after the French (Français)
When the autumn returns with its dead leaves
Which will cover the pond of the ruined mill,
When the wind will fill the gaping hole of the doors
And the useless space where the millstone turned,

I will return to sit then on this milestone
Against the wall, woven with old vermilion ivy,
And watching for a long time in the water, icy and bleak,
My image and the pale sun die.
