Your soul, which loves mine, Is woven together with it in the carpet-Tibet. Beam in beam, colours that are in love, Stars that courted each other along the heavens. Our feet rest upon the precious object, Meshes, thousands upon thousands broad. Sweet son of Lama upon the musk-plant throne, How long already has your mouth been kissing mine And cheek the cheek of colourfully knotted times?
Translator's note to the first line: it is grammatically ambiguous and could also be rendered as "Your soul, which mine loves"
