El crepuscle ha davallat, ja tots els encontorns són lluny; però primer s’enlaira l’encisera llum de l’estrella del vespre! Tot fluctua en la incertesa, la boira s’esquitlla vers les alçàries; reflectint foscúries negres i profundes, s’encalma el llac. Ara, a l’àmbit de llevant, albiro la llum i el fulgor de la lluna, branques d’esvelts salzes, com cabells, juguen amb la propera onada. A través del bellugadís joc d’ombres, tremola l’encisera llum de la lluna, i a través dels meus ulls s’esquitlla la frescor, apaivagant, fins a dins del cor.
