Habe wohl den ganzen Tag viel an dich gedacht, sag' dir nun mit Innigkeit: Gute, gute Nacht! Schließ' die lieben Augen zu, bis der Tag erwacht. Meiner Träume Bild bist du, gute, gute Nacht! All ihr lieben Sternelein, die ihr mit mir wacht, bringt ihm einen Gruß von mir, sagt ihm gute Nacht!
