Es leuchtet meine Liebe
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): CAT DUT ENG FRE
Es leuchtet meine Liebe,
In ihrer dunkeln Pracht,
Wie'n Märchen traurig und trübe,
Erzählt in der Sommernacht.

"Im Zaubergarten wallen
Zwei Buhlen, stumm und allein;
Es singen die Nachtigallen,
Es flimmert der Mondenschein.

"Die Jungfrau steht still wie ein Bildnis,
Der Ritter vor ihr kniet.
Da kommt der Riese der Wildnis,
Die bange Jungfrau flieht.

"Der Ritter sinkt blutend zur Erde,
Es stolpert der Riese nach Haus -"
Wenn ich begraben werde,
Dann ist das Märchen aus.

Brilla el meu amor
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Brilla el meu amor
en la seva fosca esplendor,
com un conte trist i melangiós
narrat en una nit d’estiu.

“Al jardí encantat hi passegen
dos amants, silents i solitaris;
canten els rossinyols,
llampurneja la llum de la lluna.

La donzella resta immòbil com un retrat,
el cavaller s’agenolla al seu davant.
Llavors apareix el gegant de la selva,
la donzella esglaiada fuig.

El cavaller cau ple de sang a terra,
ensopegant, el gegant torna a casa –“
Quan estigui enterrat,
llavors serà el final del conte.
