Et bénie soit la douce angoisse que j'éprouvai la première fois que je me sentis uni avec Amour ; bénis l'arc et les flèches dont je fus frappé, et les blessures qui m'atteignent jusqu'au cœur. Bénies soient toutes les chansons que j'ai éparpillées en proclamant le nom de ma Dame ; et mes soupirs, et mes larmes, et mes désirs !
