mich ohne Ende. Diesen will ich schmecken,
in dem will ich an deiner Glut erschrecken,
und vier für einen will ich, Überflüsse
 
will ich dir wiedergeben. Warte, zehn
noch glühendere; bist du nun zufrieden?
O daß wir also, kaum mehr unterschieden,
glückströmend ineinander übergehn.
 
In jedem wird das Leben doppelt sein.
Im Freunde und in sich ist einem jeden
jetzt Raum bereitet. Laß mich Unsinn reden:
 
Ich halt mich ja so mühsam in mir ein
und lebe nur und komme nur zu Freude,
wenn ich, aus mir ausbrechend, mich vergeude.
