by Hermann Hesse (1877 - 1962)

Es führen über die Erde
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): ENG ENG FRE SAN
[Es führen über die Erde]1
Straßen und Wege viel,
Aber alle haben
Dasselbe Ziel.

Du kannst reiten und fahren
Zu zweien und zu drein,
Den letzten Schritt mußt du
Gehen allein.

Drum ist kein Wissen
[Noch]2 Können so gut,
Als daß man alles Schwere
Alleine tut.
