Du profond des maux de mon ame A toy j’ay crié maintefois, Seigneur, Seigneur que je reclame, Exauce ma dolente voix. De mon cry ton oreille attainte Se rende encline à m’écouter, Et sois propice à la complainte Que ma voix si haut fait monter. Si sans la faveur de ta grace Tu veux nos pechez mesurer, Seigneur, las ! Seigneur, qui sera-ce Qui pourra ton ire endurer? Mais tu te plais à la clémence, Grace et pardon viennent de toy: Qui fait qu‘on t'ait en reverence, Et qu’en crainte on garde ta loy.
