Mon petit cheval n’est guère caparaçonné, mais c’est un malin. Dans l’obscurité il me mène encore assez vite à un petit château. Le château non plus n’est guère somptueux, par la porte du jardin une demoiselle vient gentiment me retrouver chaque nuit. La gamine non plus n’est pas la plus grande beauté du monde ; il n’y en a pourtant pas une seule qui me plaise davantage. Mais parle-t-elle de mariage aussitôt je saute en selle— je reste à l’air libre, et elle au château.
