Über die Heide
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): DUT ENG ENG FRE ITA
Über die Heide
Hallet mein Schritt;
Dumpf aus der Erde
Wandert es mit.

Herbst ist gekommen,
Frühling ist weit --
Gab es denn einmal
Selige Zeit?

Brauende Nebel
Geisten umher,
Schwarz ist das Kraut
Und der Himmel so leer.

Wär' ich nur hier nicht
Gegangen im Mai!
Leben und Liebe --
Wie flog es vorbei!

Risuona il mio passo sopra la landa
Language: Italian (Italiano)  after the German (Deutsch)
Risuona il mio passo
sopra la landa
A terra rimbomba
e mi accompagna.
Primavera è lontana,
l'autunno è arrivato
Un tempo felice,
c'è forse mai stato?
Mi circonda spettrale
di densa nebbia un velo,
sono nere le piante,
è tutto vuoto il cielo.
A maggio non fossi,
in questi luoghi, mai stato!
La vita e l' amore --
è tutto perduto!
