Resonne allons, mon tambourin, danseuse il faut gagner ton pain, je bats sur toi si fort, si fort, car j'ai le cœur si plein, si plein. Si l'on ne pauvait plus penser, chasser bien loin le noir chagrin ! Toujours ma peine veille, hélas ! toujours la paix fuit mon chemin. Si tu pouvais connaitre toi le mal qui couve dans mon sein, aussi toi même tu plaindrais la pauvre enfant du Bohémien.
