Ma ciò non mi è possibile, tu sei troppo lontano, e di tutta questa gioia allora che me ne faccio? Tu mondo verdeggiante, come di gioia risplendi! Potessi io gettarmi pure su te, colmo d'amore; Ma ciò non mi è possibile e molto mi addolora, di tutta questa gioia, che me ne faccio allora? Vidi allora il mio amore, presso l'ippocastano, come il cielo era chiaro e come la terra bello, e ci scambiammo un bacio, e cantammo felici. E io compresi infine della gioia che farmene.
