Mitt stakkars hode har gått fra forstanden, mitt stakkars sinn har falt fra hverandre. Min ro har forsvunnet, mitt hjerte er tungt, Jeg kommer aldri, aldri mer til å finne den igjen. Etter ham alene stirrer jeg ut vinduet. Alene for å finne ham går jeg ut av huset. Hans stolte ganglag, hans edle skikkelse, hans munns smil, hans øynes styrke, og hans tale er som en elv av magi, hans håndtrykk, og akk, hans kyss!
