Je passe un sombre jardin, Les arbres sec y grondent, Les feuilles mortes tombent. Ici, au temps des roses, je l'ai soigné, Quand tout se consacrait à l'amour, Et que bouillonnait mon amour. Les rayons du soleil se sont éteints, Les roses toutes ensembles se sont fanées, Mon amour porté au tombeau.
