Temps des roses ! Comme tu as vite passé vite passé ! Si seulement mon amour m'était resté fidèle resté fidèle, je n'aurais pas si peur. Autour de la récolte, les moissonneuses chantent gaîment, chantent gaîment. Mais hélas ! avec mon mauvais sang mauvais sang je ne suis plus bonne à rien. Je me glisse ainsi par les prés du vallon du vallon, comme perdue dans un rêve, vers ces sommets où il m'a mille fois mille fois, juré fidélité. Là-haut, sur le versant de la colline, je me détourne et pleure près du tilleul ; à mon chapeau, la tresse de roses faite de ses mains joue au vent.
