Een kleine wolk

Een kleine goudgele wolk
rust 's nachts tegen de schouder van een steile rots.
Vroeg in de ochtend al waait ze snel weg,
vrolijk spelend in de hemelsblauwe lucht;

laat slechts een vochtig spoortje achter,
't laatste spoor bij de top van de oude rots.
In diep gepeins staat hij daar in eenzaamheid gedompeld;
en heel zacht huilt hij in de morgen.
