Es ruht die Welt [im]⁴ Schweigen, 
Ihr Tosen ist vorbei,
Stumm ihrer Freude Reigen
Und stumm ihr Schmerzenschrei.
Hat Rosen sie geschenket,
Hat Dornen sie gebracht --
Wirf ab, Herz, was dich kränket

Und hast du heut gefehlet,
